As we reflect on five years of transformative partnerships, The BUSY School is proud to celebrate the lasting impact made possible by our valued corporate supporters. Partnerships with companies like SEE Group, MURU Office Supplies, von Bibra Auto Group, WorkwearHub, Optus, and many other generous donors have allowed us to expand our reach, graduating over 1,500 students in Queensland. In 2025 alone, we are directly serving more than 1,600 young people who were once at risk of disengaging from their education, with a focus on creating pathways to employment and a brighter future.
This growth is a testament to the power of corporate collaboration—something that is becoming increasingly critical for businesses seeking to improve brand loyalty and customer trust. Antony Bugg-Levine, a pioneer in impact investing, stresses that companies today recognise the necessity of addressing social inequality, stating he’s been heartened by the growing recognition among business leaders that impact investing can be profitable.
“Impact investing is now increasingly recognised by the finance industry as the smart thing to do, not just the right thing to do. There’s a lot of understanding with inequality that if you are not addressing it with your investments, you simply won’t be making as much money for your company.” Learn More
This shift in understanding foreshadows a significant opportunity for corporate Australia to invest in initiatives that yield both social good and measurable business returns.
Impact-driven investments are no longer just a philanthropic gesture; they are a strategic business imperative. Companies that align their investments with social impact are not only contributing to a more equitable society but are also enhancing their own long-term sustainability. According to research by Harvard Business School, businesses that engage in social and environmental issues see a direct correlation with profitability, suggesting that ethical and sustainable practices are increasingly key to remaining competitive. At The BUSY School, we’ve witnessed firsthand how business and community collaboration can drive real, lasting change for young Australians. Through corporate engagement initiatives, including Hoops4Schools, we continue to build partnerships that empower students, support their education, and ultimately, equip them with the skills needed to succeed in the workforce.
As we celebrate these milestones, we invite other businesses to join our movement. Together, we can create a future where every young person has the opportunity to succeed, while also providing corporate Australia with a social investment that makes a lasting impact both for individuals and communities.
