An Alternative Year 11 & 12 School Option in Southport for Girls

At The BUSY School Southport Girls+ campus, we give girls, including those who identify as female, the chance to reengage with their education.

Enrolments Now Open for 2026 — Limited Places

The BUSY School offers an alternative schooling approach for disengaged students to assist them to work towards completing a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) and continue into a career path or further education.

The BUSY School can take the time to provide individual support to students who would otherwise struggle in the traditional schooling system. We offer:

  • Access to ongoing career support through The BUSY Group services
  • Individualised Learning Plan
  • Work readiness skills and preparation
  • Individualised timetables to suit each student
  • No fees and we supply uniform items, textbooks, stationery and food.
  • Supportive and understanding teachers and staff
  • Assisted vocational or tertiary education pathways
  • Industry introduction, visits and work experience
  • Small class sizes and teaching environment
  • Senior Education and Training (SET) Plan

Where students may have otherwise disengaged with their education, The BUSY School provides an alternative approach that has already supported hundreds of young people to regain confidence, graduate with their QCE, and start a career path.

Supportive Learning Environment

The BUSY School offers no fees and all learning materials, including laptops, provided for students, as well as uniforms. In a warm and friendly environment, new students quickly turn around their academic performance, forge friendships and go onto thriving career pathways.
