With personalised career guidance and strong partnerships with providers including Skill360, TAFE Queensland, One Stop Training and Smart Apprenticeship Solutions, students can access a range of nationally recognised certificate courses. These courses can support future study or employment pathways, while also contributing credits toward a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE).

School-based apprenticeships and traineeships allow students to combine paid work, formal training and school studies while completing Year 11 and 12.
Apprenticeships are usually linked to skilled trades such as construction, plumbing, electrical or automotive, while traineeships often focus on industries like business, hospitality, retail, health and information technology.
Through a school-based apprenticeship or traineeship, students work part-time with an employer, complete nationally recognised training and continue their school studies.
