WHO IS RIGHT FOR THE BUSY SCHOOL?
Students at The BUSY School come from a range of backgrounds but have one thing in common, they are not thriving in mainstream schooling and have disengaged or are at risk of disengaging from their current school.
We enrol students who are:
- Applicants are typically between 15 - 19 years of age at the time of application
- Are completing Year 10 or equivalent
- Disengaged from traditional schooling
Each application is assessed on merit and will be complimented by a face-to-face interview with the Principal.
HOW TO IDENTIFY A FUTURE STUDENT FOR THE BUSY SCHOOL?
- The student is struggling with their academic performance
- The student is struggling with attendance
- The student is not ‘fitting in’ and may be experiencing bullying or isolation
- The student is more suited to a practical, hands-on learning environment
- The student may be more interested in a trades career than an academic pathway
- The student would benefit with a smaller class and teaching environment
The BUSY School has zero tolerance to behaviours that violate the rights of others, or put others or yourself at risk of harm.
