Potential apprenticeship employers include:

Markwell Group – heavy industry, earthmoving and fabrication
Woodfield Engineering – fabrication, mechanical repairs and precision machining
Northern Hard Surfaces – metal fabrication, welding and repairs
Townsville Engineering Industries – engineering and fabrication

These businesses provide different working environments and areas of industry exposure, but all offer students the opportunity to develop practical skills in metal fabrication and engineering.

A boilermaking apprenticeship combines paid employment, structured training and practical workplace experience while working towards a nationally recognised trade qualification.
