Hairdressing Apprenticeship

Hair at Donna’s is a licensed home salon in Benowa Waters offering an opportunity for a student interested in building a career in hairdressing.

The business is looking for a first-year apprentice who is enthusiastic about learning and genuinely interested in becoming a hairdresser. Previous experience is helpful but not essential.

The successful student will have the opportunity to learn directly from an experienced hairdresser with 38 years of industry experience, gaining practical skills and experience in a professional salon environment.

The opportunity includes:

• Paid part-time employment
• 24–32 hours per week
• Permanent part-time position
• Flexible hours
• Working Tuesday to Saturday
• Hands-on experience in a hair salon
• Mentoring and training from an experienced hairdresser
• Opportunity to work towards a Certificate III in Hairdressing

• Reliable and willing to learn
• Genuinely interested in a career in hairdressing
• Comfortable communicating with clients and colleagues
• Positive and enjoys working as part of a small team
• Able to travel to Benowa Waters, with reliable transport preferred

The position is available immediately and is open to Year 11, Year 12 students and school leavers.
