Cass Champion is the visionary founder of My First Job, an innovative platform aimed at empowering the next generation to launch their careers and connecting organisations with great talent. With extensive experience in senior management roles spanning the hospitality and education sectors, Cass has worked closely with state and federal governments to drive policy changes and advocate for youth intervention and education frameworks.
Cass has owned national training organisations delivering bespoke company training solutions, and consulted with industry bodies to review accredited training packages and ensure they reflect the needs of industry and stakeholders. Cass has also successfully tendered, overseen, and executed the rollout of various state and federal grants, totalling over $18 million. These initiatives have led to tailored workforce solutions for priority cohorts, with tangible employment outcomes.
Board & Committee representation includes the National Accommodation Board of Employment (NABE), Accommodation Association of Australia – Vic, NSW & Qld State Advisory Board (SAB) and Public Advocacy (PACC), Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC).
