Efthimia is a seasoned employment lawyer who is committed to ethical social justice and uses her skills and expertise to further these aims on the Board of The BUSY Schools.
During an impressive legal career, Efthimia has gained extensive specialist experience advising in relation to integrity and ethical standards matters including in the education sector. Acting in both the private and public sector, Efthimia is regularly engaged to advise on workplace matters such as discrimination, harassment, bullying, conflicts of interest, misconduct, and corrupt conduct. Efthimia has delivered projects to Government including delivering culture, diversity and inclusion programs, designing complaint management frameworks and advising organisations on their obligations and responsibilities. Through her work, Efthimia has gained an acute understanding of the depth and scale of employment challenges faced by workplaces, leaders and employees resulting in her renowned balanced approach to her work.
In her pursuit to promote social justice, inclusion, equity, and accountability, Efthimia dedicates her time and experience to working on projects that make a difference to the lives of others. In 2020, Efthimia was awarded the Australian Lawyers Alliance’s Queensland Civil Justice Award.
